About
In cooperation with the University of Arizona and Chapman University, USD’s Center for Ethics, Economics and Policy hosts an annual Summer School in Philosophy, Politics, Economics and Law (PPEL). Each year, our department brings in about 50 students from PPE programs around the world for 4 days of intensive discussion, lectures and projects. Students are hosted on the USD campus and provided with free room and board for the week. Past faculty include David Schmidtz, Deirdre McCloskey and Nobel prize winning economist Vernon Smith.
