Career Fairs

Once our team verifies your organization is approved on Handshake, our online job board, we can send you the registration link for a fair!

Registration includes coverage for 2 representatives, one table, two chairs, lunch, and parking. Up to two additional representatives can be added for $50/person.

• For Profit/Private = $400
• B Corps & Small Business (under 25 employees) = $300
• Nonprofit/Government = $200

After an organization registers for a career fair, an invoice will be emailed to the registrant (usually sent within one week of registration). From the invoice, click "PAY HERE", sign in to Handshake, and then click the green "PAY NOW" button. Follow the directions from there to complete payment. *If you need to pay via check, please email Kelsey Nager (knager@sandiego.edu) for instructions.

All career fairs take place at the University of San Diego. The exact location for each fair will be emailed to registrants the week before the fair along with parking and other instructions.

We will provide your organization with a table, chairs, and an umbrella (if the fair is outside).

You are welcome to bring branded display materials, but they must fit on your table or in your immediate area (we reserve the right to ask you to remove items if they interfere with the flow of traffic at the event). We will not be selling electrical outlets, please come with your items fully charged.

If you are coming from out of town, we recommend staying with Bartell Hotels. USD has a partnership where you can get discounted hotel rooms, free breakfast, and a portion of the cost comes back to USD in scholarship form. Please consider one of their properties if seeking lodging in the area.

Directions and parking information will be sent out the week before each event to all registrants. Parking costs will be covered by the USD Career Development Center.

Each fair has a different menu and we will email the registered attendees more details the week before each event. Food is served buffet style and we always try to have a variety of options to accommodate common dietary and allergy needs (i.e. vegetarian, vegan, nut allergies, etc.).

Spring Career & Internship Fair on 3/4/25: Cancellations received in writing two weeks before the fair will be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations received after that time including "no-shows" at the actual event, are nonrefundable.

Career fairs hosted by the University of San Diego’s Career Development Center are only open to USD students and alumni job seekers.
