Uniform Policy

Alcalá Club branded apparel is a gift from the University of San Diego for your service. There are certain things to remember while wearing any Alcalá Club branded apparel:

We are representatives of the university; therefore you should wear your Alcalá Club branded apparel with pride.

  • Always wear your nameplate placed on the right side of your apparel.
  • No eating, drinking or gum chewing while in your blazer.
Exception: when invited to eat at an event.
  • At all times you should conduct yourself properly. (Use proper language and be courteous.)
  • You must remain in uniform until the event is completely finished and you are off the premises. (Example: Do not take off your Alcalá Club blazer and tie as you walk out of the building - wait until you get to your car or are fully outside the event location.)
  • Know what the patch/embroidery on your apparel represents.
  • Blazers are dry clean only.
  • All other apparel should be washed on cold water only to ensure it does not shrink and to keep the color bright.
