Preparing for your Campus Visit

We look forward to seeing you on campus soon! Please review the information below prior to your arrival on campus.

Please be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes, sunscreen and a water bottle. We are proud of our campus community's commitment to sustainability and will have stations for you to fill your water bottle throughout the day. Also, while you're on campus, take some time to cheer on our NCAA Division I Toreros! Check out the game schedule!

Parking Instructions

Visitors to our campus must park in the West Parking Structure. Parking outside of this area will result in a citation and/or your vehicle being towed. Payment is required to park Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

Parking rates are as follows:

  • 30 Min - $0.75
  • 1 Hour - $1.50
  • 2 Hours - $3.00
  • 4 Hours - $4.00
  • Full Day - $8.00

We utilize a pay-by-plate parking system. This means that a license plate number is required when making a payment at the pay station in your parking area. If you will be driving a rental car during your visit, it may be helpful to take a picture of your license plate after you park your vehicle. Once you have made your payment, there is no need to display your receipt on your dashboard. You also have the option to pre-purchase a daily permit using the online customer portal.

Check-In Process

After parking, please head to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to check in for your visit. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is located inside Manchester Hall, which is a short - but rather steep - walk from the West Parking Structure. Should this walk pose any challenges to you or your family, trams are available to take you up the hill. There is a tram stop conveniently located at the bottom (ground floor) of the West Parking Structure. Please take this tram to the Paseo de Colachis Tram Stop, which is the nearest tram stop to Manchester Hall.
