Hi, my name is Marissa Pledger! I am the Health and Wellness Representative at the Women\'s Center. I got involved with the Women\'s Center at the end of my Freshman year, and have loved every moment of it since then! I am a self-taught advocate of gender equality, and am glad to finally have a place to discuss and change things on the USD campus with regard to this topic. In my role as Health & Wellness Representative, I collaborate with various departments and organizations to raise awareness about issues disproportionately impacting women such as disordered eating, body image and relationship violence.
