Volunteer Coordinator

Hi everyone! My name is Ella Guimond and I am a senior at the University of San Diego. I am an Ethnic Studies major with a Spanish and Peace and Justice Studies minor. I first got involved with the Women's Center when I participated on the Empower Women Leadership Retreat where I found a community of young women who were energized and knowledgeable about various issues regarding gender, feminism, identity and sexuality. I now work as the Volunteer Coordinator at the Women's Center, and I am looking forward to reaching out to the greater USD community to get more people involved with the great events that the Women's Center holds. The Women's Center is now the place on campus that I call home as I have found inspiring women who continue to challenge and motivate me to further explore my identity as a woman.
