Distinguished Alumni Award

Each year, the School of Law and the Law Alumni Association Board of Directors present the Distinguished Alumni Award to alumni who have distinguished themselves in the legal field or other chosen profession at an exemplary level and who embody the high ethical standards and commitment to community service the School of Law seeks to instill in its graduates.

Each spring, the Nominating Committee of the Law Alumni Association Board of Directors considers candidates for the Distinguished Alumni Award. To submit information on a prospective candidate, please call the Office of Development and Alumni Relations at (619) 260-4692 or lawalum@sandiego.edu.

USD Alumni Awards

Mother Rosalie Clifton Hill Award for Service to USD; Bishop Charles Francis Buddy Award for Service to Humanitarian Causes; Author E. Hughes Award for Career Achievement

School of Law alumni, along with all USD alumni, may be considered for recognition through the Mother Rosalie Clifton Hill Award and the Bishop Charles Francis Buddy Award, both of which are presented to a single alumnus each year. The Author E. Hughes Award for Career Achievement is presented annually to an alumnus from each of the five schools of the university.
