The National Lawyers Guild of USD School of Law and the American Civil Liberties Union of San Diego & Imperial Counties cosponsor this lecture by the former White House counsel to President Richard Nixon.

Revelations about warrantless spying on Americans by the National Security Agency have sparked a nationwide controversy and sharp questions from lawmakers across the spectrum. Dean speaks passionately about the excessive secrecy of the Bush Administration and its consequences. His talk will be followed by an ample Q&A session.
