U.S. Justice Kennedy Presents Award to Judge Wallace
All USD law students, faculty and staff are invited to the following event:
Justice Anthony Kennedy of the U.S. Supreme Court will present the
Edward Devitt Distinguished Service to Justice Award to Judge J.
Clifford Wallace of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in an event to
be held in downtown San Diego on Thursday, October 19, 2006. The
Devitt award is highest honor given to a U.S. federal judge for
lifetime service to the judiciary.
The event will be begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Sprekels Theatre, 121
Broadway, and is free to everyone. This is a great opportunity to
hear a Supreme Court Justice and one of the most distinguished members
of the court of appeals on the subject of service to the courts.
