Out-of-State Student Events

In addition to regional activities hosted by the Out-of-State Student Council, the Center for Student Success offers events during the fall semester to give out-of-state students the opportunity to make connections with other students from outside of California.

Out-of-State Student Ice Cream Socials (during Torero Days)

Come enjoy free novelty ice cream bars and meet other freshmen from your specific region as well as your regional council members.

4th Annual Out-of-State Student Dinner

The Annual Out-of-State Student Dinner is an excellent opportunity to meet other freshmen, successful continuing students, faculty, and staff who hail from outside of California. Enjoy a delicious dinner and don't forget to wear something that represents your home country, state, or region!

Regional Activities

Throughout the year, council members will be planning regional events and activities. This year, out-of-state students will be invited to participate in an Outdoor Adventures event at Mission Bay on Sunday, September 23rd (registration will be required).

Also look out for the Out-of-State Student Council's booth at the Football Tailgate and Picnic during Homecoming Weekend on Saturday, October 13th. Join up with other out-of-state students to walk over to the USD Toreros vs. Campbell Camels game together!
