All Special Education students must meet the following prerequisites or co-requisites
- Level I Education Specialist Credential: Early Childhood Special Education
- Level I Education Specialist Credential: Mild/Moderate Disabilities
- Level I Education Specialist Credential: Moderate/Severe Disabilities
- Level I Education Specialist: Early Childhood Special Education Certificate
The School of Leadership and Education Sciences and the internationally renowned Los Angeles-based John Tracy Clinic formalized their partnership to prepare teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in August, 2005.
