New Leaders Program
Professional Administrative Services Credential

Admissions Requirements

To be considered for the New Leaders program, applicants must:

  • Be recognized as a learner and thoughtful supervisor
  • Have participated in recent professional development activities,
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Have excellent human relations skills
  • Demonstrate a strong desire and need to improve one's own practice.

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to apply for the Induction & Support Program:

  • Possess a valid Preliminary Administrative Services Credential
  • Be employed in a school or district position that requires an Administrative Credential
  • Minimum grade point average of 3.0 in all undergraduate and graduate courses
  • Have passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)

Application Dates/Deadlines

We will be accepting applicatons in the fall of each year.

Tuition

USD will discount the cost from $1,160 per unit to $500 per unit reducing the total cost of the ELDA Professional Services Credential program to $6,000.00 ($500/unit x 12 units).

Student scholarships may be available.
