Apply to the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) in Sacramento through the San Diego County Office of Education for evaluation and issuance of the preliminary credential.

The CCTC will evaluate and determine what if any California certification you are eligible for and tell you what additional requirements you need to meet.

If your coursework is from a foreign university you will first need to be evaluated by an independent evaluation service. Information is available on the CTC web site.
