Program Overview

The Peace and Global Education Certificate is aimed at teaching the attitudes and skills necessary for peacemaking, replacing conflict with agreements based on mutually beneficial outcomes, and peace building, developing institutions and relationships that support peace through a foundation of justice within a global context. This program is a collaboration between the School of Leadership and Education Sciences and the University of San Diego’s Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies.

This certificate may be pursued as a stand-alone program or in conjuction with the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction.
