Upon investigation an umbrella was found missing and the fuse box cover had been removed, exposing the electrical wires underneath the steering column. The paint near the window had also been scratched.

Summary: At approximately 0935 Public Safety received a report of a laptop taken from a resident hall room. The suspect has been identified as a male in his mid-twenties who was allowed into the resident’s apartment by the victim’s roommate. The suspect’s image has been captured on video surveillance, in possession of the laptop. The suspect was also seen leaving the resident hall at approximately 0437 in a yellow late model Ford Mustang. The video images of the suspect are posted on the Public Safety crime alerts section of the DPS website.
