WorldLink Internships
WorldLink offers a specialized high school internship during the fall, spring, and summer semesters at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice (IPJ). WorldLink interns have the opportunity to explore WorldLink topics in a more in-depth manner than other student conference delegates. Interns take a regional or topical approach on pressing issues that will be further explored at the Youth Town Meeting (YTM), which is held annually in January at the University of San Diego (USD).

Fall Internship
The fall internship offers two positions for high school students. Fall interns work closely with the WorldLink program officer and are responsible for a variety of projects including editing the WORLDLINK READER, a classroom tool that provides youth with the important background knowledge regarding YTM topics. Fall interns will also play a crucial role in the planning and coordinating of the 13th Annual Youth Town Meeting.
In addition to providing general administrative assistance to IPJ staff, fall interns will have the opportunity to attend IPJ events and meet with several of the IPJ's guest speakers, including the Women PeaceMakers.
The student-chosen 2009-2010 WorldLink theme is on global development. The 2009 interns will research topics related to development, such as education, infrastructure, poverty, food and agriculture, healthcare and governance.
WorldLink internships are highly competitive research opportunities for youth interested in international relations. This internship is unpaid.
