Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice

Fostering Peace, Cultivating Justice, Creating a Safer World

We offer three locally based programs: 1) Women PeaceMakers documents the stories and best practices of international women leaders in peacebuilding, 2) WorldLink connects youth to global affairs, and 3) the Distinguished Lecture Series brings high-level national and international leaders to campus to discuss cutting-edge issues in peace and justice.

In the Field

International peacebuilding initiatives have been at the core of the institute’s work and mission since its creation in 2000. We invite you to read about our current and past fieldwork or our many publications on peace and justice issues.
