The Second Annual International Women’s Day Celebration Breakfast, "Global Dispatches: Women Moving Forward - and to the Top," co-sponsored with Voices of Women, the Women’s Equity Council of the United Nations Association of San Diego, and others brought together more than one hundred and forty members of the San Diego community. International voices and local “foreign correspondents,” who had just returned from the 50th annual session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) at the United Nations in New York, reported on progress achieved and challenges faced by women worldwide as they move forward and upward into leadership positions in their countries.
