Citation Appeal
This form is used to appeal a parking citation believed to have been issued in error or improperly. The appeals form must be completed within fourteen days of the issuance of the citation. Appeals that are submitted beyond the fourteen-day period or appeals that are vague or incomplete will be rejected. Please limit your appeal response to the facts directly related to the issuance of the citation.
Citations will not be recommended for dismissal for not knowing the regulations, violations endangering life or safety, and/or not seeing the signs or parking space marking.
To avoid a penalty fee, your payment MUST BE POSTMARKED by the date on your citation appeal form, or MUST BE RECEIVED by the University of San Diego, Cashier’s Office, before 4 p.m. of the above date.
University of San Diego, Parking Services,
5998 Alcalá Park
San Diego, CA 92110-2492.
Once your appeal is submitted, the due date on your original citation is no longer valid. You do not need to pay your citation while you are awaiting the results of your appeal. If your appeal is denied, you will be given a new due date for payment of your citation.
Please DO NOT fill out multiple appeals for the same citation, this will only slow down the process.
Results will be sent to your USD assigned e-mail address.
