Career Services

USD Career Services promotes the professional development of students and alumni. Emphasizing a personal approach to career planning, the staff offers a broad range of resources and services. Counselors conduct frequent workshops in résumé writing and interviewing skills, as well as targeted sessions for student organizations and classes. They also provide individual assistance with career decision-making, job search strategies, and graduate school planning.

Career Services collaborates with alumni, academic departments, and student organizations to host annual events such as the Internship Fair, Graduate School Fair, Career Expo, and Majors Fair. The office also coordinates employer presentations, on-campus interviewing, a resource library, and a career planning Web site with job and internship listings. USD Career Services invites parents to partner with the university by submitting internships and employment opportunities for students through the ToreroLink system on the Web site.

Located in Hughes Administration Center, Room 110, Career Services is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesday until 6 p.m.  For more information, see www.sandiego.edu/careers, email careers@sandiego.edu, or contact the office at (619) 260-4654.
