Costa Rica Spring Break

Bohdi Surf

Costa Rica 2013 has been cancelled. Check back in August 2013 for details on Spring Break 2014.

Join us on an epic journey to the world's ultimate eco-adventure destination: Costa Rica! Outdoor Adventures is offering an adventure trip of a lifetime. This 8-day and 7-night excursion will include some of the best activities that Costa Rica has to offer!

Surf jungle-lined Pacific beaches, kayak mangroves, snorkel coral reefs, hike the rainforest, zip-line through the jungle canopy and more!

There will be numerous opportunities to connect with and contribute to the local community through a variety of service opportunities coordinated by Bodhi Surf School.  Learn about sustainable development and eco-tourism practices in the region.  Examine the environmental justice issues impacting the people and areas we visit.  This is not a tour of Costa Rica, it is an opportunity to awaken your soul!

This trip will provide a great opportunity to build meaningful connections, challenge ourselves physically and emotionally, and engage with a beautiful and unique environment.

Participants must be able to swim. Previous experience is not required, but it is important to prepare by being in good physical condition. Some of the activities are physically strenuous, and involve basic skills that will be taught prior to the activity.

We will immerse ourselves in a small coastal community that is working to grow in a sustainable manner, adapting to everchanging demands and challenges. We will have an opportunity to connect with the local community on a educational journey that will take us to visit local schools, town hall, old airport landing strip, Marino Ballena park ranger, and other sites of archeological and historical significance.
