Spring Break: Border Matters
Nogales, Mexico

mexico border

Travel with us to Nogales, a small town sharing a border with Mexico and Arizona. This 8-day and 7-night international excursion (March 8th-15th) will include numerous opportunities to connect with and contribute to the local community through a variety of community engagement experiences, coordinated by the Center for Awareness, Service and Action.

Adventurous experiences during our travels to and from Nogales await you, including camping, hiking and more! In addition, you will learn about and examine issues surrounding immigration that impact the people and areas we visit.

Immersing in the Community

We will split our stay between staying at a home located in the community in Nogales, Mexico and camping in Arizona. In addition, we will serve alongside community members and interact with citizens of Nogales.

Adventures of a Lifetime

Get inspired to make the world a better place while having an adventure of a lifetime. It will be a spring break to remember and possibly a turning point in your USD career.
