Outdoor Adventures' Chocolate Mountains canoe trip along the "Lower” Colorado River is perfect for those new to paddling and camping. We will paddle and float 32 miles of river over 2 days finishing just north of Yuma, AZ.

We will cruise past desert mountain scenery while enjoying life on the river and “raft-up” by tying the canoes together to enjoy lunch or snacks. and take stretch breaks along sand bars. Stargazing is a hightlight of our evenings.

This portion of Sonoran Desert is able to sustain a diverse collection of wildlife species because of the access to water, even though summer temperatures can reach 120 degrees and only 2 inches of rain falls each year.
