Text

“Creative Collaborations: A Celebration of Student-Faculty Works” showcases the intellectual life at the University of San Diego and provides students with an opportunity to present their research and creative activities.

This year’s event takes place Thursday, April 26 from 12:15 to 2:15 p.m. in the conference rooms A-D of USD’s Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace & Justice. The event is free and open to the public.

The event showcases student and student-faculty research from a variety of disciplines including the natural and social sciences, engineering and the arts. More than 100 students will present posters and other materials in this celebration of USD’s academic excellence.

The University of San Diego is a Catholic institution of higher learning chartered in 1949; the school enrolls approximately 7,500 students and is known for its commitment to teaching, the liberal arts, the formation of values and community service. The establishment of the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies will bring the University’s total number of schools and colleges to six.  Other academic divisions include the College of Arts and Sciences and the schools of Business Administration, Law, Leadership and Education Sciences, and Nursing and Health Science.
