When did you start working here? 2015
What did you do after college that led you to ministry at USD?: I was a volunteer in Ecuador working with teenage boys who lived and worked on the streets of Guayaquil, and then lived at Annunciation House, a shelter for migrants and asylum-seekers in El Paso, TX.  Accompanying these communities allowed me to witness strength and compassion in sacred, broken spaces.  At USD, I strive to cultivate spaces where students feel invited to be their most authentic selves, and to recognize their own strength and capacity for compassion.
Primary Role/Programs that you assist with in UM: Name: I work with our First-Year Retreat, and spend time in Tijuana building relationships with students and community partners, including during our Tijuana Spring Breakthrough and on Tijuana Day Trips.
Hobbies: Searching for the best tacos in Tijuana, spending time at Sunset Cliffs when it isn't overrun with tourists, and Pinterest-ing my way to interior design and DIY adventures
