Circuit Borrowing
USD students, faculty, administrators and staff may borrow books from any of the major local university libraries and have them delivered to the LRC or Copley Library via the San Diego Library Circuit. The Circuit is a consortium of the libraries of California State University at San Marcos, San Diego State University, the University of California at San Diego, and USD, formed with the purpose of sharing library resources. For more information, read this online guide.

To request materials from libraries outside the Circuit, follow these instructions and forms.
- Microform Collection
The LRC’s Microform Collection contains both microfilm and microfiche and is located in the lower level. Most items are arranged using the Library of Congress classification system and can be located using SALLY. Some notable resources on microform are congressional documents and hearings, United Nations publications, 18th and 19th century legal treatises, documents from Amnesty International and other human rights organizations, and canon law materials.
Microforms may be viewed on Minolta scanners and reader/printers which provide digitization capabilities as well as print output. Print copies are ten cents each. Contact the Circulation Desk for assistance with the equipment.
