Israeli Legal Materials
Israel Law Reports is now available in a digital format via our Hein Online subscription. This new collection also includes access to Israel Law Review.
The proceedings of the Israeli courts are conducted in Hebrew, and their decisions are given in Hebrew. English translations of these decisions are limited. Between 1954 and 1996, ten volumes containing translations of Supreme Court decisions were published under the title Selected Judgments of the Supreme Court of Israel. The current series aims to provide English translations of Supreme Court decisions on a larger scale. A "Table of Cases Published in English Translation" lists, in alphabetical order, all cases that have been translated into English and appear in the selected Judgments.
For more information, please contact Foreign and International Law Librarian Melissa Fung at extension 4734 or by e-mail at mfung@sandiego.edu.
