Application Instructions

Apply Online: USD Students

Apply Online: Non-USD Students

Your application for the USD School of Law Institute on International and Comparative Law is official when you have submitted the online application, signed and submitted the USD contract and sent the deposit. An admissions decision will follow quickly.

Contracts and Agreements

  • All applicants must complete and sign the one–page USD Contract.
  • All applicants should review the FERPA Release Form (optional). Current USD students can complete this form through the portal; non-USD students should complete the PDF form and submit to lawabroad@sandiego.edu.

Deposit and Submission of Materials

  1. Complete the online application.
  2. Refer to the Costs and Payment Schedule Web page for your selected program(s) to determine the appropriate deposit amount. Make deposit payment checks payable to University of San Diego.
  3. Gather signed USD contract, FERPA form (optional), and your deposit.
  4. Either mail or deliver completed documents and deposit to:
