Professor Allen Gruber, a practicing attorney for 35 years, specializes in real estate and commercial litigation with the law firm of Gruber & Donnet, APLC. Since entering private practice, his specialization has been focused on issues involving lending institutions, title companies, escrow companies, real estate entities, trust deeds, and brokers and agents. He has served as a judge pro tem and as an arbitrator for the San Diego Superior Courts. He is a certified mediator and a member of the National Panel of Commercial Arbitrators of the American Arbitration Association. He has supervised the Civil Clinic program at USD during the summers since 1990 and during the school year since 1998. Gruber oversees all civil matters at the clinic for live clients, supervising second- and third-year law students in litigation from the beginning of a case through trial.
