Brian P. Brinig

Adjunct Professor of Law

Brian Brinig is both an attorney and a CPA who limits his professional practice to business valuation, damages analysis and economic loss analysis. He has qualified as a financial expert witness in federal and California courts more than 200 times in the last 18 years. Professor Brinig obtained his B.S.B.A. from Georgetown School of Business in 1974 and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1979. He has co-authored three books and many articles relating to financial and economic issues in litigation and the economist's role in litigation support services. He has been active in developing and presenting continuing professional education courses for both attorneys and CPAs, and he is known for reducing complex financial issues to practical, understandable terms.
