Areas of Expertise
Professor Brennan teaches and writes in the areas of international law, criminal tribunals, conflict and dispute resolution mechanisms, terrorism, counterterrorism, detainees and international human rights.
Professional Experience
Brennan practiced in civil litigation at the trial and appellate level for over thirty years. During the past five years he taught several international law courses at Western State University College of Law where he served as the civil/judicial/appellate externship director and the moot court advisor. His private sector classes included international business transactions, trade and WTO mechanisms, Sales (UCC & CISG) and the practice of international commercial arbitration.
Honors and Affiliations
Brennan has coached several teams in international moot court competitions.
