Areas of Expertise
Professor Bejar teaches in the areas of immigration law and immigration-related criminal defense matters and is the supervising attorney for USD's Immigration Clinic.
Professional Experience
Bejar practices immigration law at the Offices of Jan Joseph Bejar in San Diego. He is a frequent speaker on immigration law issues at conferences and legal training programs as well as in the media.
Honors and Affiliations
Bejar is a member of the Immigration and Nationality Law Advisory Committee, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is a former vice chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), San Diego Chapter. He has been named a "Super Lawyer" and is rated AV by Martindale–Hubbell.
