Emerging Technologies

What are Emerging Technologies?

emergingEmerging technologies at USD are educational technologies on the cutting edge. They are at times experimental in nature and represent new software or hardware developments that address needs within education.  Some developments are unique to themselves, for example virtual worlds like Second Life, while others represent converging technologies such as Wimba's integration of video, audio and application sharing.
