Study Abroad at USD - Free Mover Program
Inviting students from all over the world to study at USD
Frequently Asked Questions about the Free Mover Program
At the University of San Diego (USD), “internationalization” has been identified as one of our most important university-wide strategic goals. With this in mind, the International Center at USD has created the bold new “Abroad at USD” Free Mover program.
Abroad at USD provides undergraduate students from all over the world the opportunity to select the beautiful Southern California city of San Diego as their study abroad destination and apply directly to USD (hence the name Free Mover) without relying on an affiliation agreement with their home institution. Free Movers may enroll for one semester or a full academic year at USD and then transfer course credit back to their home institution.
Through Abroad at USD, domestic and international students will live and learn side by side, enhancing the undergraduate experience and contributing to a more culturally diverse, culturally competent campus and global community.
