Honors Dorms
Alcalá Vista Apartments
The Alcalá Vista Apartments (coed) include 156 apartments, and are located adjacent to the Sports Center Complex (gym, locker rooms, weight room, pool, and tennis courts). The majority of these units have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. Each of these two-bedroom units accommodates four residents. The three-story units are clustered around two courtyards and feature the Spanish Renaissance architecture that is used throughout the main campus. A reception desk, laundry facilities, study rooms, wide-screen TV, lounge, and staff offices are located on the first floor of Palomar Hall. Sophomore students occupy this area.
San Antonio de Padua Apartments
The San Antonio de Padua Apartments (coed) offer 41 units consisting of studios for two residents and one-bedroom apartments for three residents. A laundry room, study/computer lounge and recreation room are located on the ground level of this three-story building. Each unit is entered from an interior hallway and many have balcony views of Tecolote Canyon and Mission Bay. A swimming pool is located at the south end of the building. These units are available to freshmen.
Missions A
The San Dimas Missions A (Coed) complex offers suite-style living, providing campus housing for 258 residents. Returning sophomores, incoming transfer students and freshmen occupy this living area. There are twelve, three-story buildings with each floor housing eight residents in single or double rooms. A 4.5 cubic foot refrigerator is provided in each room. Each floor or suite is fully carpeted and has a furnished living room area which includes a microwave oven. There are two bathrooms with showers, toilets and sinks on each floor. Each resident has a twin bed (standard length in single rooms; bunkable, extra long length in double rooms), dresser, and desk with chair. Each room is wired for internet access and cable television. These units are located along the edge of Tecolote Canyon and some have views of Mission Bay. A Resident Director and seven Resident Assistants reside in San Dimas Missions A. The University Alcohol Policy designates San Dimas Missions A as a no alcohol living area regardless of age or class status.
