The Student Health Center is now located in the northwest corner of Maher Hall, Room 140, across from the Immaculata Church. Follow the sidewalk along side of Aroma's and walk north.

ATTENTION NEW UNDERGRAD AND TRANSFER STUDENTS

New students to USD who have not met immunization requirements, and have a hold on registration, should contact the Student Health Center ASAP. to complete this process.

"The Student Health Center has transitioned to a new Electronic Health Record system which will provide more efficient and streamlined services for our patients.  If you have an appointment, please check in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete consent forms and online questionaires relating to your visit .

Other Information Concerning Appointments:

Note:  If you do not have a scheduled appointment with a provider but meet the criteria for an urgent visit with a triage nurse or a provider, every effort will be made to get you in as quickly as possible.  There may be long waiting periods and you must check in at least 30 minutes prior to closing, or you will be scheduled for the next day.  Please arrive as early in the day as possible.  If a lab test is necessary it must be completed by 4 pm for the lab courier pick up.

If you have a scheduled appointment and are 15 minutes late, your appointment will be given to the next patient waiting for the triage nurse, or provider, and you will need to reschedule your appointment.

A Student Health Center medical care provider is available by phone for urgent medical questions that cannot wait for our regular office hours.  Please do not call after hours for general questions or to schedule appointments.  Call Public Safety at (619) 260-7777 to contact the "On Call" SHC provider.
