General Information
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR 2008/2009
Students who intend to apply for and receive funds through the Federal Family Education Loan Programs, (All Subsidized & Unsubsidized Stafford and Graduate Plus Loans) are required to complete the appropriate on-line Entrance Loan Counseling (ELC).
This includes:
- Graduate Students who have previously borrowed Grad Plus funds and are borrowing again
- Students borrowing for the first time while attending USD
Federal regulations prohibit disbursement of funds until Entrance Loan Counseling has been completed and electronically submitted to the Office of Financial Aid. Information is available on the MySanDiego portal and on the Stafford and Grad Plus Loan applications. The Web site can also be accessed through the link below.
