General Information
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
New students or first time borrowers at USD who intend to apply for and receive funds through the Federal Family Education Loan Programs, (All Subsidized & Unsubsidized Stafford and Graduate Plus Loans) are required to complete the appropriate on-line Entrance Loan Counseling (ELC) .
Federal regulations prohibit disbursement of funds until Entrance Loan Counseling has been completed and electronically submitted to the Office of Financial Aid. Information is available on the MySanDiego portal and on the Stafford and Grad Plus Loan applications. The Web site can also be accessed through the link below. Loan applications for 2009-2010 will be processed in the order in which they are received. Loan applications submitted to the OFA after July 15th may not be processed in time for funds to be received by USD at the start of the semester.

2009-2010 Applications and Information
You must have filed a 2009-2010 FAFSA and had a Financial Aid Award posted in the MySanDiego portal to apply for the Federal Stafford Loan and/or the Federal Graduate Student Plus Loan.
