Experience the University of San Diego

The University of San Diego has an active, thriving campus community. In addition to its sublime setting — enhanced by an average 300 days of sunshine each year — USD offers students an abundance of academic programs, facilities and resources.

The University of San Diego has long been recognized as one of the most beautiful campuses in the country — in fact, U.S. News and World Report recently ranked USD fourth nationally on its “Most Beautiful College Campuses” list. The amazing architecture, stunning landscapes and prime location provide students with one of the most idyllic spots imaginable to learn and live.

And one of the best parts about the University of San Diego is experiencing life on campus. Whether meeting up with friends for a mid-morning mocha at Aromas Café or blowing off some pre-finals stress by participating in the traditional Midnight Scream, the friendly and energetic atmosphere guarantees that there is always something to do, and plenty of people to do it with.

USD offers students endless opportunities to connect with the campus, the community, and most importantly, each other. With nearly 200 clubs and organizations, countless sports and residence hall activities, guest lectures, community service opportunities and wellness programs, Toreros have every resource necessary to get involved, have fun and maximize their USD experience.

"My experience at USD was one of incredible growth, both personally and intellectually." Kiera Schlansky '09

The latest addition to campus, the Student Life Pavilion has become the hub of campus life; there, students gather to listen to bands, watch free movies or just hang out. The SLP is also where visitors will find USD Radio, The Vista student newspaper and a variety of lounges and meeting spaces.
