DARS, short for Degree Audit Reporting System, is a software tool for charting a student’s progress toward her/his degree that can be accessed on-line. The University of San Diego will begin using DARS for undergraduate students and their advisors during the Spring 2006 semester. It will be available for graduate students and their advisors during the Fall 2006 semester. It is available already to Law students and advisors in paper form. It replaces (or will replace) the Academic Record used previously for advising undergraduate and graduate students.

A training manual has been written for DARS. You can access it by clicking on the “Training Manual” link to the left. This manual is a “how to” guide that should provide all of the necessary information for students and advisors to use DARS.

To use DARS online, click on the “faculty/advisor login” or “student login” links to the left.
