The Center for Community Service-Learning utilizes multiple entry points into the community, in order to provide easy access to a variety of service opportunities.
- Course-Based Service-Learning
Students are able to serve and learn in the context of the classroom. The valuable work they contribute to their community becomes a tremendous experiential education opportunity. - USD Center for Awareness, Service and Action (CASA)
This program is located in Hahn University Center, Room 113, and sponsors a wide range of student-led projects, such as Cool Club, Prokids, Color Your World, and more. - Social Issues Committee
Many of our service projects address a variety of social issues, which are brought to light and examined by the Social Issues Committee. Providing learning opportunities through an annual conference with major speakers, team-taught classes and cultural events, SIC bridges the gap between service and activism. - Work-Study
In partnership with Financial Aid, we offer extensive leadership and tutoring opportunities in the community. - Residence Hall Service
Students are encouraged to participate in service with others in their hall.
