USD: Chemistry and Biochemistry

Welcome to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry! We are committed to providing the highest quality education to our students. Our courses impart a strong foundation in the principles and practices of modern Chemistry and Biochemistry within the framework of a liberal arts education. In the laboratory, students gain extensive experience with sophisticated instrumentation and computer equipment. Our curriculum is approved by the American Chemical Society's Committee on Professional Training.
