Dr. Jason Lemon has accepted the position of Dean, Professional and Continuing Education. Dr. Lemon currently serves as Associate Dean of Extension at University of California, Berkeley. For over two years, he has been responsible for the delivery of a wide array of more than 1,500 courses (non-credit, certificate, credit, residential and on-line). Prior to this Dr. Lemon served as the Director for Online Learning for UC, Berkeley Extension and Summer Sessions and as the Director of Business Development and Academic Partnerships for Compass Knowledge Group in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Lemon has a Ph.D. in Latin American History from Emory University and is fluent in Spanish. Dr. Lemon will be assuming his new role at University of San Diego on June 14.
