Learning Outcomes
The Liberal Studies Program learning outcomes are:
LO1: Written Communication Students will demonstrate a command of fundamental writing principles (grammar, spelling, and punctuation) and communicate a clear message using standard written English. |
LO2: Oral Communication Students will demonstrate oral communication skills that will be effective in the classroom. |
LO3: Math Competency Students will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical content knowledge areas required for teaching at the elementary (K-6) level. |
LO4: Critical Thinking Majors will demonstrate the ability to apply critical thinking skills to the analysis of course content; to logically organizing their ideas and then drawing reasonable inferences. |
LO5: Teaching Professionalism Students will demonstrate dispositions that are appropriate to, and in concert with, classroom situations. |
