This page is dedicated to the internships proposed by several companies. Please check out our FAQ below before pursuing an internship.
The communication studies internship program offers students the opportunity to gain experience in a communication oriented field and to put their coursework into practice. Please note the following prerequisites:
- The course is open only to communication studies majors or minors.
- Students must have second semester Junior standing or higher (minimum 75 units).
- Students must have completed Comm 300 (Human Communication Theory).
Also note that no more than three units of internship may be applied to the major or minor. Please check the Current Positions tab for a list of companies that are pre-approved. Students are free to find their own positions at alternate companies, but those must be approved by Professor Ghio before work begins. Please check the Frequently Asked Questions tab for additional information.
