We are proud of our rich legacy as the foundation of the University of San Diego, a tradition that continues today as most of the undergraduate core curriculum is taught here. Offering 28 majors, 35 minors and 4 graduate programs, the College of Arts and Sciences is where undergraduate students begin their path towards academic excellence and personal achievement.
Combining small class sizes and intellectual rigor with our commitment to community, the College fosters an inclusive, diverse environment where students excel and thrive. Community service is incorporated into our curriculum, strengthening the bonds between students and the world in which they live. This culture is set against the backdrop of San Diego, a community that welcomes USD's students as active members of the San Diego and greater global society.
"Our vision is to provide students with a collaborative, well-rounded education that evolves with professional and personal aspirations, global trends and individual journeys."
Dean Mary Boyd
