Scholarship Opportunities
The University of San Diego Office of Corporate and Professional Education is pleased to announce three (3) scholarship opportunities. The Certificate program “Business for the Arts and Nonprofit Art and Cultural Organizations” is now accepting scholarship applications to attend the third certificate program course in ‘Art Collecting, Sales and Auctions Course’ instructed by Natasha Bonilla, Thompson & Martinez Fine Art Appraisals on Friday, November 20th from 1-5pm and Saturday, November 21st 9 from 9am -6pm. Description: The student will learn the Best Practices of market analysis, market trends, and methodologies for promoting art collections to auction houses and private dealers.
Topics: Museums, Galleries, Private Investment Initiative and Auction Houses: Printmaking Art Valuation Methodologies, Art Appraising, Art Dealing, Valuations.
Course Highlights:
- Students will have a private viewing to USD’s Print CollectionResearch methods to identify a collection’s value
- Analyzing the art market and the auction house market
