Program Overview
The Certificate in Business for the Arts and Nonprofit Art and Cultural Organizations aims to manifest the importance of the arts as an economic force. The arts can revitalize cities, raise a community’s quality of life, be an alternative to secured investments, and promotes international cultural collaboration. By providing the necessary tools, BANAO students can become experts in the field. The certificate program uses best practices to train professionals about the importance of developing art projects, leadership, promotion, and sales. Courses help students prepare for the competitive art field and teach them how to surmount the many challenges in the art sector, including fundraising techniques, new marketing technologies, communication strategies to solicit new donors, and tactics to increase gallery sales.
