When a student completes the MSRE program first and then continues as an MBA student at USD, they are able to count four (4) of the MSRE courses to satisfy 11 units of the general electives requirement for the MBA.

Total MBA Units Required: 50

If an MBA student completes the real estate emphasis by taking GBA 525, GBA 526 and GBA 527, then these courses will count toward their MSRE program requirements.

Total MSRE Units Required: 32

Please note:

• Waiver of a course requires a grade of “B” or better.
• All admission requirements must be satisfied for both degrees.
• Admission to the second degree must be requested before graduation from the first degree.
• No more than six units of MBA coursework can be attempted before official admission to the MBA program.
