Developing business leaders with a global mindset

The Ahlers Center for International Business is proud to present various conferences to enrich socially responsible international business education for our students, faculty and the business community.

Our third annual Summit on Peace and Prosperity through Trade and Commerce, was held September 17th of 2010, brought together current and future business leaders of tomorrow to explore how business can responsibly contribute better the lives of individuals worldwide. The fourth annual will be held in Fall 2011.

In April of 2010 The Ahlers Center co-sponsored Beyond NAFTA: U.S. and Mexico Moving Forward with the Trans-Border Institute of the University of San Diego.

In conjunction with the San Diego Microfinance Alliance, The Ahlers Center hosted the first ever San Diego Microfinance Summit to share the wealth of success stories of empowerment attributed to microfinance. The second annual San Diego Microfinance Summit returned to the University of San Diego on April 28th, 2010. The third annual will be held in Spring 2011.
