1. The Solidarity Committee has proposed that the SBA hold 2 town hall style meetings per year to provide an opportunity for all SBA employees to come together in an open forum setting to raise questions and concerns, which will be addressed by the Deans. Town hall meetings will be followed by lunch to provide social/networking opportunities.
2. This Sub-Committee plans to offer professional development opportunities for SBA employees. We propose to hold one workshop/seminar each semester led by faculty where they will present on a topic of their expertise. Topics can include leadership skills, negotiation, personal finance, etc. Attendees will receive a certificate of completion that can be reflected on one's resume.
3. This committee will oversee the New Employee Task Force, which serves to welcome new employees and provide information and resources about the SBA.
