Cynthia C. Nitsch, is a full time instructor for the past 12 years, specializing in information technology management, for the School of Business at the University of San Diego. Cynthia holds a M.Ed. in Educational Technology, a California Teaching Credential, and a B.A. in Business Administration /Marketing. She teaches a variety of courses including e-commerce, information technology, web design and database design.
Cynthia is currently involved in the development and implementation of technology assessment for business students. Within the last year she has also co-authored a Management Information Systems small business case study book that is currently in its 2nd edition.
In the past 14 years she has been instructing technology classes at community colleges, corporation consulting, and volunteering with the welfare to work state programs. Cynthia has also been the faculty advisor for the student chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals at the University of San Diego.
Her teaching philosophy centers on bringing current industry practices in the classroom and experimenting with new ways to deliver knowledge in order to prepare her students for success in the demands of the current global market.
